Greetings from the exhausted but happy couple running La Perla de Frigiliana Suites & Villa. You could say that it was an extremely busy summer, but you can’t, since it’s not over yet, because we’re still busy and almost fully booked all the time. Since we changed our policy from three nights minimum stay to two nights minimum stay in June, our occupancy calendar just filled up. We hope this change will continue to encourage people to spend their weekends with us during the low season. We might even consider making up some special weekend packages.
What a lovely summer it has been though. So many nice people stayed with us and seemingly enjoyed what we or Frigiliana and Nerja had to offer. There were regular parties but there were also special parties and festivals in both towns. The biggest festival of the summer for us was the Festival of the Three Cultures https://frigiliana3culturas.com/eng/programacion-2024/. Some 46 600 people participated in the four-day festival arranged now for the 17th time and what’s interesting, most of them walked past our gates to the festival area. Since we are located at the entrance of Frigiliana, all the buses dropping off people and extra car parks for the visitors were in our neighborhood. This is also proof that we are walking distance from the center.
As mentioned, the occupancy is still high at our Villa, but there are still some slots available in September and October, so now is a good time to reserve a relaxing autumn holiday here with us. Well, let’s not get too excited about X-mas yest, since it is still summer and as we know from experience, the type of summer that the Nordics like, is about to begin! Warm days, warm dark nights and cool mornings.
Soon our photographer will come and take new photos of the Villa. After that we will have a facelift on our homepage and on the platforms that we are on. We will also start posting more photos and videos on Instagram and Facebook.
