Dear travelers and guests, thank you for the great year we have had with you! The journey has been rewarding in many ways and what makes us really happy is that we have succeeded in making your holidays special with us. Thank you for all the feedback and all the reviews you have written on different platforms.
Nothing comes for free and scoring 4.9/5 on AirBnB and 9.4/10 on Booking.com feels really great. It is not only a rise from last year, but it is also a token of your appreciation of what we do to make your stay exceptional. Also, a reward for our right choices for the necessities and equipment that you need in your apartments. So, thank you again.
When we say nothing comes for free, let’s put it in a perspective. Our average filling rate this year was little short of 60%. This means that we made about 2700 beds for you, we vacuumed and mobbed an interior area equaling about 10 football fields, not including all the terraces and outdoor areas that equals as much. Our busiest month was August and surprisingly second busiest April. The slowest two months were November and December.
We have plans to make you feel even better on your 2026 and beyond stays. Let’s talk more about of the plans as they realize next year, but one thing that we already did was adjust our pricing for 2026. Good news for all those making direct reservations; most of the prices sank! Good news also for guests using different platforms; we still love to host you; however, all prices went up a little bit.
Let us explain the logic behind this. Our apartments are all quite large with terraces. The larger the apartment the more time it takes to clean it and therefore it is more expensive. The more beds the more it costs due to the laundry costs. You get the point. This is all same independent of the reservation channel. If you book directly, there are no additional commissions or costs. If you use a platform the commission and other costs fall on us. The difference in the prices isn’t the commission, it is less, but it evens the cap a bit.
Christmas and New Years are just around the corner, and it is time to celebrate! We hope you will have a chance to enjoy yourself and unwind during the holidays and maybe even plan your next year’s holiday in Frigiliana with us!
